Cooking butter with nonfat milk + smartbalance
So we were in a pinch and didn't have real butter or milk, so we combined nonfat milk and smartbalance and cooked that as directed. we ended up having to strain it through a small strainer instead of cheesecloth, and as we strained it we got a very yellowish buttery mixture (no green) in the bowl below, and a sort of pasty cookie dough-lke mixture in the strainer. we saved what was in the strainer in the fridge, and made brownies with the butter. we ended up eating all the brownies and not really getting high at all. we used about a gram and a half of good weed. so we still have that weed in the curdly mixture in the fridge and we're thinking that maybe whats in the fridge is like pure milkfat or something with all the weed and the thc in it.

I'm skeptical that this will work since there seems to be little fat for the THC to bind with.

I would have just popped for the couple bucks for butter. Also using just a gram and a half doesn't seem like it would be that potent to begin with.
When we make Cannabutter we use at LEAST an oz. |
