8 hours later I can comfortably say that I was blitzed for a gooood 6-7 hours... as if I were smoking a bowl every hour or so throughout It was a lot smoother than one might think slammin that oil shot, hahhaha!! I hope enough people can try this out and give some more feedback in this thread. Thanks again for all the great suggestions and brilliant input yahookans.

so if we made the stated concoction, could you just add it to the water when boiling pasta?

Mr. Tree, not when your boiling it after you have boiled it, and strained it. You would have to then pour the oil in and hopefully add some sauce to even out the weirdness of that haha. Otherwise you would evaporate or strain the oil containing the thc and other yummies out.

that's not much oil, shouldn't you mix it with some water when you boil?

nah dude, your missing the point. THC is a fat soluble substance (also organic solvents like butane), so oil and butter is the most natural thing to use to extract THC for cooking. its aslo why you want to consume all of the fat/oil. i was just wondering how much the dank affects the taste, because i was going to use this recipe the next time i cook shrimp scampi (just with a little more than a gram and a half ). with scampi, you taste the oil, butter, garlic, and shrimp. im hoping this infusion tastes good with a light evo. maybe ill even use cannabutter along with the cannaoil.

GREAT idea with the scampi. It didn't put a foul flavor into the oil at all. I would say the flavor was altered a bit, but once again, I kinda tried to not taste it. I just took that shot with all the weed clumps in it still so I almost gagged, but oh well.

gvr4 - next time, grind it to a powder, so no weed "chunks" to deal with. And, you'll intensify the high. I put mine in a blender. Every little iota of the thc cooks in the oil or whatever, when you grind it to a powder. The stone is so fantastic, it's unbelievable. Like you said, 6-7 hours of an unbelievable, amazing stone. Smoking doesn't touch it... I shall now go prepare a nice, small salad with said olive oil recipe...
