Amish Friendship Bread
Amish Friendship Bread - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I got a starter bag from someone 11 days ago and am making my first batch now.
In 10 days I'm gonna try and make a special version... I'll let you know how it turns out.
It calls for 1 cup of oil... how much weed should I use for 1 cup?
It's supposed to make 2 loaves, and that seems like a small weed oil/serving ratio no matter how much I use.
Should I make cannabutter as well as the 1 cup of pot oil to spread on the bread instead?

what strength weed are you using?
i had my cannabutter on some hot cross bun and wouldn't have been more stoned if they were baked with pot oil.
but if someone else went to the trouble, i'd prefer both.

"Amish Friendship Bread is a type of bread or cake made from a sourdough starter that is often shared in a manner similar to a chain letter."

you share the starter for the bread with your friends as a sign of friendship. it's like "here have this nasty smelling shit to make a loaf of bread with, FRIEND". I hate starter. 10 days for a loaf of bread though? gay.

I like the idea of sharing food to strengthen friendships.

if you have an eighth would you consider just making like a half loaf?

You gotta make it all at the same time... if you wait too long the bread gets too sour.
But I could mix it separately and do one special and one normal. Half a cup of oil each. They loaves aren't too big, so that could be an even distribution.
But would it be a waste? Like is there a limit to the amount of THC the oil could hold?

Making half and half is a good idea man, once you made a mess you mid as well make two loaves. The you will have one to share with the 'straighter minded' folks too..points!

Funny story. An Amish man in Lanster PA was taken to trial for growing marijuana. Once he was there in court his ticket out was an (ye) old page from the Sears catalog from 1900s selling 'Cow Pacifier' and touting ' Easy milking cows eat this ' , well it was really hemp seeds to make hay with to feed cows. Cows that are calm produce more milk. My question was, was there enough THC to make it into the milk, because that would be a cool way to get a buzz if that actual happened. Pouring up a big glass of thc milk right from the cow. I don't know how it worked though because they ate it? Really wouldn't do anything to a person to ate it, but maybe in quanity and in their 4 stomache phases they could metabolize it right from the plant?
