canna-oil

got this recipe from a coworker today, along with a little something to wet my beak.. very nice. I was trying to compare it to the oil thread that used to be here, but I cannot seem to find it (maybe it never existed?)

In any case.

Quote:
needed
at least 1/4 oz greens (you can use shake, trimmings, or lesser quality buds to keep cost down)
1L canola oil (easiest to use; doesn't burn quickly)
1 large pot
instructions
- Simmer (very lightly, just until bubbles reach surface; too hot and you'll start a fire!!!) on very low heat (minimum or 1 on your stove top) for about three hours.
- Strain out leaves etc. Store in fridge. Use to create anything delicious you can think of... (oil can be used in the cooking of just about any dish!)

Gets more potent over time!
The impression I got from my friend was that they'd been doing it for a while, and knew this method inside and out.

So yeah. Go crazy guys.

yeah don't skip the "at least" preceding that though :P

I'm just gonna try it with a 1/4oz to start with, and use the oil liberally on like a pasta dish or something, see how it goes. I guess it's all in gaging how the pot affects you when consumed in such a manner..

If your going to be putting it directly on pasta rather than cooking with it you should use some nice olive oil, not rapeseed (canola) oil, itll taste better
