I think the higher proof alcohol is needed for the extraction. Not undrinkable like 100% But something you can choke down, or mix with a drink. I think scotch is only like 35-40% alcohol, so it might not pull as much THC from the bud. What was just typed could be 100% bullshit as I'm blowed and think I know the answer.Wow.

Yeah it would. Although, the higher the proof, the better. The cannabinoids dissolve into the alcohol. With a higher alcohol content, the cannabinoids will more easily dissolve into your drink.

I looked up lemon extract. It has alcohol and is different from lemon juice.
I have never made this. I want to use the storage method. Does vodka work well? I would get a 100 proof brand for this. If it works a lot better I can use bacardi 151 for the higher alcohol but I really hate the taste and would prefer the vodka. Hopefully someone has experience on this.

After filtering out the bud instead of trying to squeeze out every last drop with your fingers ( which you can not do ) try using an herb press. There are only a few places out there to get them, I got mine from herb press . It gets you way more high than just trying to squeeze it and it makes making big batches easy
