I don't care who you are. This is a warning. Don't overdue the edibles. This is coming from a guy who just ingested 2-3 grams worth of cannabis in tincture kind of by accident but kind of on purpose haha.
Here's a little story. So Mydriasis was doing some late night hard-candy making experimenting with a glycerine based tincture he's had going for a few weeks and applied a heating method too it today(designed for potency aka a couple ml's sublingually and you should be high).
Well when mydriasis went to pour in the Cannabis/Glycerine + food coloring to the simmering molten sugar it didn't quite mix right. At all. I'm assuming my thermometer is flawed(it was super cheap like dollar-store cheap). I probably went well over "Crack temperature" aka 300*f. well none of it mixed well at all no matter how hard I mixed and working under pressure(candy can only be molten for so long) I just dumped it into the mold. well the tincture never settled so I just poured it into a dixie cup. edit- or maybe glycerine isn't miscible in the sugar syrup
frusterated that it didn't work mydriasis thought it'd be a great idea to just kinda slam the tincture and go to bed. To his surprise he woke up stoned as fuck sweating balls hahaa. The anxieties eased but my time-perception is stupid slow haha.
Just a fair warning to those of you who think your super man, weed tinctures and edibles are not toys, not at all. It's a good thing I'm experienced with dosing on a whim other-wise I might have an all too expected panic attack.
