Im not sure where this post is suppose to go, and its not really a cuisine but im just wonderin what would happen if some buds were soaked in codeine and left to dry if anything would happen, or is it even safe to smoke?

The fact that it's designed as a drinkable syrup is usually a good indication that it's not a good idea to smoke...

it does work, from what i've heard. you can ingest codeine by smoking it..
the same way you can dip a joint in embalming fluid

I bet you could smoke codiene, but... I would stay away from it unless it was extracted.
There's usually lots of sugars and stuff in medical syrups(what makes them syrupy/sticky). If you aren't aware of what happens to sugar when it's burnt, it caramelizes. Caramelized sugar is actually is really really hard and sticky. I would never invite that into my lungs.

i always used vicotuss, it worked fine for me, i have also used a synthesis for extracting the codeine out of tylenol 3 to create codeine phosphate that stuff works wonders with a bowl or a blunt
