will my husband pass??? oral swab test...

my husband jsut applied at lowes. he f*cked up and smoked a bowl yesterday and they called him today for a swab test. he drank lots of water and pickle juice and took 2 niacin tablets. he was pissing clear and we thought all was good until they told him to do the swab test... now what? what are his chances for passing? the drug testing code is : 38535n DSAP 6
i have no idea what they are testing for but all he does is smoke pot... any help is much appreciated! thanks

He'll be ok if it's a swab test. You literally have to smoke the day of the screening to fail a swab test. I think the resin and/or toxins only remain in your mouth for a span of 4-8 hours anyway.

Swab tests are more effective at detecting recent drug use. I think he has a pretty good chance at passing but I think ideally I'd wan't to abstain from weed for 3-4 days, especially for a heave smoker. Theres a lot of people applying at lowes it seems ...

yeah im pretty nervous just cause he smoked the day before so it had been like 23 hours... the window of detection time states less than 24 hours... if anyone has had this experience please give me some info... he needs this job we have a family to support sooooo.... like i said im racking my brain over here....

Theres no for sure answer so just hope for the best. I think hes got a good chance of passing, especially if it was just a bowl.

Statistics extend the average window of detection because no one has the same biological, chemical, or physical characteristics. I'm sure he passed though, so don't worry.

I just got a call today letting me know that I had passed. Results were sent within 2 business days. I was a constant smoker 1.5 weeks before the test, and had smoked approx. an 8th thereafter leading up to the 36 hours before the test. I had been drinking a lot of fluids thinking it would be a UA, but besides that I drank a gatorade about 10 minutes before the test.

just had to let everyone know how it went... My hubby got the job and he is a heavy smoker had smoked 23 hours prior and passed a swab test. Thanks everyone for all the input! i love this site!!!

aint this a B**** !!!! apparantly my husband did not pass the drug test. infact he failed. they put him through training before they got the test results back and we were just notified by mail that his employment has been terminated due to his positive drug test results. i am soooo upset! this was our chance at a real future for our baby girl. anyway, i dont know what we are gonna do now... soo if anyone out there is taking a swab test it is possible to fail and by far is not the easiest drug test out there. my husband is proof!

You got fucked by the system. Best chance for you and your family, is go out and find a job and abstain from smoking until you get a stable job and your all packed and set and shit.

I would just move on...every bit of info I found says you need about 48-72 hours for a clean test. My manager at work was telling me that the saliva test is in place because it is easy to pass, a few years back it was a piss test and they could'nt get anyone to pass. I'm sorry about your husbands job...stay clean and go get another job.
