alchohol and pre emloyment drug screens?

if i drink within 24 hr's of a drug screen that is a lab test will that make me fail for alcohol ??? or while they just check for drugs

It's not too bright to drink before a urinalysis. I don't advise it.

yea thats what i figured cuz if they can tell exactly whats in ur piss then i figure they will be able to identify booze.... and i didnt drink the night prior or the one before the night before for that matter so its all good i was just curious.... wanted to make sure... i wouldnt normally care if it was for probation cuz i just get the dip stick but this pre-employment test was a lab test that they send to toxocology place at the hospital... so im in the clear... thanks for the info tho.!

I drank alot of times the night before i report... they never said anything and im not suppoused to drink... just give yourself 1 hr for every beer you drink... drink some water and stuff to rehydrate you with normal fluids and you should be fine and dandy.

beer helps you clean your system out of toxins. a light beer is better than a stout in that department but alcohol tricks your body into thinking you have too much water and your body expels it faster and being that light beer is mostly water. the big breweries just mix beer and up to 40 % purified water in the kegs before they stick them in the freezer. alcohol tricking your body is why your thirsty and dehydrated after a heavy night of drinking watery beer. so getting shitty off some light beer isn't to bad of an idea

Your employer usually doesn't give a shit about booze, as it's legal.

Which has always behooved me. Luckily, when I was in the work-force, piss-testing was still unheard of. But company executroids usually throw down a few cocktails during lunch...then hit 'happy-hour' after work & get hammered. Come in the following morning all hung-dung...feeling like shit...but that seems to be OK with them.

When's the last time anyone missed work because they were too hungover from weed? NEVER!! Makes a lotta sense, doesn't it?
