Isopropyl Alcohol in Urine Sample... Am I Screwed?

Hey All,

I was lucky enough to have a clean friend volunteer their fresh sample right before driving my sorry butt to the clinic for my pre-employment urine test. It was marked non NIDA 5. Everything went okay inside. The temp was fine, but after I got back into the car, she told me that she was worried because there had been some rubbing alcohol left in the container I gave her to pee in. She said she shook out what she could. I doused that thing with alcohol to sanitize it but thought it would evaporate by the time she came over. I guess it didn't, so there is sure to be a bit in my sample... Am I totally screwed? Is it illegal to be a rubbing alcoholic?

If anyone knows anything about the testing and whether isopropyl would show up and/or be a problem, please let me know. It was a 3 oz. bottle which got filled up (I thought I wasn't messin' around

)

P.S. They did not give me any alcohol wipes to use, either.

I don't know much on this subject But I always thought they measure the products that your body makes after ingesting the controlled substance. So I don't believe that they would be testing for the alcohol. I hope I am right...

They probably thing you tried to tamper with the test. Doesnt matter though.

I dont think anyone would drink isopropanol, and it probably wouldnt be too bad of a contaminant.

So far so good. Took the test Wednesday afternoon. The lab said it would take two days. It's Monday, and I've heard nothing. I expect I'd only hear something if it were bad news. Will keep ya posted should anyone in the future come across the same situation (Please don't! Rinse with water after! How hard would that have been for me? I should really lay off the pot!

Anyway, good luck to everyone and pass the dutchie!!!
