Hair Test

I haven't smoked since last October and have a hair test coming up for a job in the government. They say it goes back like five years, is this possible? My hair has always been short, it is about two inches long. I have smoked less than twenty times in the last seven years, am I good?

What kind of government job are you going for? I am actually trying out for a government job myself but I hadn't heard anything about a drug test.
