Fuckin worried about hair drug tests on 7-eleven!!!

Hi, I'm a brazilian student taking part on one of those Work&travel programs and I'm gonna start to work on a 7-eleven store, in Tampa Bay, in the beginnig of december. And I'm really worried because I've just noticed on the internet that 7-eleven in that area seems to do pre-employment hair test...
I'd like to know if you guys know anything about it, if it's really for real, etc...
(The last time I smoked was on 5th october. Probably I'm gonna be tested after 9th december)...

i doubt they do a hair test. the only people that hair test is the government. good luck anyways. why didnt you choose a better place to work than 7-fuckin-11?

When the time comes, AND if it's brought up,tell them you "Learned the error of your ways, and don't do that anymore." The test will show it's been 2 months since you "sinned", and will show that you have no "addiction". Tell them it was a "stupid kid thing, and you didn't like it anyways, you regret it, blahblahblah. They eat that shit up, and I'm sure they'll see it as a "youthful indiscretion". Avoid it til then, and you'll be ok. Good luck, and God Bless you and yours.

Actually, alot of companies do it. The one I currently work for hair tests. Fortunately, I was already working for the company they bought, so I didn't have to take it. I'd be out of a job if I did.

But do you know if there is any kind of tolerance on the interpretation of the result?
For example, in my case...they´ll find out that I´m not a addict, a heavy user, etc...

lol, why would you work at 7-11?

if youre gonna pick a job at the bottom of the spectrum, pick a restaurant job. save yourself a lot of headache.
