I have the EZ test complete kit which is awesome, you can pretty much narrow down what is in you pill with the exception have having to make an educated guess if the pill is mixed with 2 active substances. I find testing pills and making good reports for pillreports to be a hobby of mine.
You should definitely invest in one if you intend on taking pills. Mine cost like 50 bucks or something, thats like 10 pills, so cheap. Plus you can help contribute to pillreports and help others be safer, as well as yourself.

If you observe the list of various substances detected by each of the reagents in EZ test complete you can notice some pretty obvious means of weeding out what is in your pill. The simons and robadope are nice to test for any crossover between mdxx cousins and mdma or mda. Like if it turned purple on marquis that would indicate mdxx, but if it didnt go blue on simons, it wouldnt be mdma. But you could then check with robadope and find out if the mdxx postive reaction from marquis was due to MDA.
I find testing to be fun and very informative, also helps you be a bit safer when playing around with pills.
edit - it just occurred to me that you could most likely also use some of the reagents to help you attempt to identify various RC's sold as acid, if you suspected that. It looks like marquis at least can identify a few DOx's and im unsure but these reagents may give off reactions for other drugs in these familys. something worth researching anyways.
