Drank Detox.... home test was weak negative....testing place sending for confirm

I was a regular smoker... everyday... mostly hydro a couple bowls a day. I stopped 4 days before a pre-employment test. Got a detox drink and some jump start detox pills and followed all the instructions. Took two at home tests this AM and got a really weak negative and then a somewhat weak negative.

Went into the testing place and pee was normal color. When I told the lady I have a Rx for Xanax and had taken it last night as I always do she said the test needed to be sent off for confirmation because of that. It was a standard 5 panel test that shouldnt have even screened for the Xanax. Why would the test need to be sent off? The form the employer sent over said confirmation was required on non-negative results.

Was she just blowing smoke up my a** since it was a weak negative for THC? Will the lab confirmation test the level of THC since it was a weak negative? Or did the at home test just not work as well as the labs?

You can pass a home test but yet fail a lab test.

Drinks are a terrible plan when trying to pass a drug test especially when you are a everyday smoker. You should never mention any scripts that you are on. It's medical privacy and should not be mentioned.

I have never heard of a company requiring confirmation on non-negative results. If that was the case why not do a confirmation test in the first place? Next time use the Powdered Urine Kit can you will be OK and you will not have to go through this BS.
