it should be out of your blood stream not long after the effects are gone. id say 24 hours after smoking, the blood should be free from thc. im not positive on that time, i just think 24 hours would be a pretty safe bet.
urine on the other hand may take longer because the thc ends up deposited in fatty tissues where it is slowly metabolised and excreted through the urine
