I have a pre-employment screening tomorrow plus physical so not sure if it's urine or hair, but i had a friend call up there and they have 2 types of hair tests and 1 urine test. I've done the macujo method 4 times in the past 4 days and i did the Idavisa method with pantene nature fusion w/ aloe and i added a little aloe vera gel to it just in case. I'm strictly an herbal person and been clean of everything for about 10 days, passed a home urine test today so I think i'm clear for now. I plan on doing the Idavisa method one more time before I go in tomorrow and also using zydot shampoo. I'll post results when they come in.

Seems like you are well prepared. Make sure that (if they do a hair test) that they get the sample from your head - don't even let them have the option of taking hair elsewhere on your body; which is why I advise everyone to trim their body hair down to 1/4 inch or so everywhere on their body so they can't take a sample from anywhere but your head hair.

Also make sure to treat ALL of your hair down to the scalp; not just in one area as they will take hair samples from a half dozen areas on your head. So if you treated just a particular area on your head thinking they will take the hair from that area, you will be up shit creek.

As long as you follow the method posted here I believe you will no problems whatsoever.

Today was my first day of work, just an intern until school begins again in August. Last Monday I went for drug screening for the position, urine and hair. As I stated in a previous post I was in no way expecting a hair test therefore I was not prepared at all. Back when I interviewed with the company, the company was lenient about when I came down for drug testing but said if I started before the results came back I would simply be let go if the results were positive. It was last Monday morning when I got the testing done and the Quest courier was picking up the specimens that afternoon. I am not worried about the urine, and Quests website says positive hair results are confirmed and reported in 72 hours, but I am sure they get backed up at times. How long would you say until I am in the clear here? I am still worried since I didn't really use any method to remove any metabolites, just one month of being clean from smoking and washing my hair daily. I just want to know how long I should let this play out before I celebrate in case I need to find other work for the summer?

my test just ended up being a urine test...I'm still unsure of how I did though, I passed a practice test in the morning that's said to have a detection limit of 50 ng/ml but the test I took was 20 mg/ml I took the test yesterday at about 2:30 so I doubt they had time to analyze it yesterday. Anyone know how long it takes to find out if I failed? I don't think they would contact me unless I failed...

Clorox should not cause a problem in the concentration recommended by ldavissa unless you have extremely sensitive skin. It is pretty well diluted.

Why are they taking the hair from your legs? Why not under your arms? Post back with specific details as to why this is and I can provide some advice.

If you use the mixture as instructed you should be ok...but a little more information on yourself and the specifics of your test would help me give you more advice.

Get some one with clean piss to piss in a ziploc bag and tuck it under your scrotum on the way to the test to keep the temp relatively high. Piss in the cup and pour it out, this will make the temp of the cup around the temp of your piss; pour it out and pour in the clean piss.

just curious on how you think my test will turn out.....sunday morning i used pantene pro v with aloe,clorox and peroxide...doubled up on clorox and peroxide(.2 cycles.)....sunday night exact same procedure again....then monday i used same mixture but added bout half a cup or so of vinegar but only washed it once that day(2 cycles)......now on tuesday the big day used the same mixture minus the vinegar and washed it 2 or 3 cycles cant remember.....didnt have zydot but i used ultra cleanse(its a detox shampoo).....let drip dry....used conditioner and left in.......now heres my drug history....havent smoked weed in bout month and a half to two months....no loratabs in one month.......but 3 weeks b4 the test i took 2 x pills and then the following week after that i took 3 more.....so i have done no x in 2 weeks.....what do u think......im 6'6 short hair bout 250 lbs...:con fused:

In my opinion, it appears that you have done everything possible (and then some). I trust that you will be ok.

The fact that you have not smoked in 45 days gives you 3/4 inches of clean hair.

If possible I would trim your hair down at least another inch (if this is an option...), I would go as far to trim hair down to a minimum of 1.5 inches.

Then I would follow the advice on this thread, however I would suggest doing the method (step #2) each day up until the day of your test. The reason I say this is that a black person's hair is more predisposed to fail a hair test because of it's texture and properties than that of a caucasion or other lighter skinned person. You can find proof of this online if you research it.

That is not to say you cannot beat this, because you can...just that you will need to apply more of the mixture mentioned in this thread and repeat it more than that of the average person.

If you are able to cut your hair down to 1.5 - 1.25 inches this would dramatically help you. And then start treating your hair with the hydrogen peroxide, bleach, and aloe shampoo mix and much as possible up to the day of the test.

I plan on using the same process as Idavisa. Though I have naturally blonde hair I dye dark brown, I plan on bleaching and re-dying first and doing the Idavisa way both before and after the bleach/dye job. I will be continuing my prescribed medication, the Ritalin and Xanex throughout and the day of my test. My biggest question is, do I give info at the testing site of my prescribed drugs or not? If I come up completely clean and I have given my medication history, wont that raise up a red flag? Or should I refrain from giving any information and hope I am contacted regarding results so that I can then give my proof of meds? And what if I am not contacted and I show up with the meds that I will be continuing on and I am just not offered the job? Not sure what the best course of action is. Please advise!!!

I have a drug test coming up in august. not sure exact date. but im quiting all drugs as of tommrw . well my hair is less then 1inch long . since i been doing drugs prior to today. should i cut my hair soon and let it grow out to 1inch - 1.5inch since my hair prolly has traces of drugs in them?. cutting it now doesnt make a difference since i will be growing out to atleast 1.5inch by august.?

Best to not mention anything during day of testing. If done correctly you won't need to provide this information...if either show up the clinic will contact you first before contacting the employer to provide info on any Rx's that may show up. Then when asked (if they do...which would be odd since you stripped your hair of all drug metabolites anyway by following the info on this thread) simply tell them you have a Rx for Ritalin or Xanax...but do not tell them before, as it would mostly raise a red flag.

Is August the month of your test?

Hair tests usually want a sample of hair 1.5 inches minimum (which will show drug use for past 90 days; 30 days=0.5 inches of hair)

I would say if you shaved hair in 1 week (provided you don't use drugs anymore from now until day of test) from today and let it grow out until test-you should be ok.

If you let it grow out you should have 1.5-2 inches of hair by test day. To make sure you hair is clean I would suggest getting a haircut and have your hair trimmed in August to insure all dirty hair is gone.

I been hitting it a bit heavy lately and think I could be in trouble. On the wagon now so should have about 6 weeks clear. Any advice would be appreciated..

Do they ask beforehand if you are taking anything? Say you dont tell them, then your Rx turns up in your hair, what do you recommend to say to the testers--to explain why you didn't divulge in the beginning?

2) I literally never smoke weed. I smoked last October. And then I vaporized one "bowl" with about 5 other guys about a month and a half ago. That's it. Nothing else. So I should only have one time in my system. Do you think that I still have the possibility of showing up on the test?

My test will probably be in a couple weeks.

I have a drug test either this week or monday of next week. The place i'm applying at tests through Psychemedics.
female, 5'7'', 135lbs on a bad day, pretty decent metabolism. I used d-amphetamine/generic adderall [30mg the first day, 20mg the second, maybe 15mg the third day] during exam week at my university, which was a few weeks ago. the approximate dates of usage were 05/06-05/08.
I want to try this method, but I have a fewwww questions. first off, im not getting ANY detox/cleanse shampoos, and just using the vinergar &bleach/peroxide method & conditioner.

1) i have really crazy hair. its ethnic; curly, frizzy, flat ironed daily, chemically treated. my hair color isnt an issue, but will this DAMAGE my hair any worse than it already is? i don't want to get killer split ends.
2) i dont want to go anywhere with nappy hair. if i do this method, then straighten my hair, and then put more conditioner it in afterward [and let dry], will i have the same results?
and finally
3) will the d-amphetamine even be detectable with usage so recently?

also, whats the window they test in? last december, i did a few lines of cocaine, again while studying for exams. what can i say, i'm dedicated to my major and my 4.0gpa. hello masters in biomedical engineering.

i'm not a frequent drug user. i smoked weed once in my life, my freshman year of college a while back. i mainly use adderall to help me study, so its used twice during the year- may and december. its also only for 2-3 days, never more than 30mg a day.

how many times should i do this method? i think i'll do it tonight, then tomorrow morning & hopefully tomorrow afternoon/night IF my test isnt tomorrow.

I passssed!! Don't know how... was not expecting a hair test and did not prepare at all. My hair was about an inch and a half long, and I had stopped smoking for 30 days after smoking multiple times a day for months. Therefore I still had about 60 days of smoking in my hair. The only explanation I can think of is luck and I used some weird shampoo daily from Trader Joe's called Tea Tree Tingle. Some of its ingredients include peppermint, tea tree, eucalyptus, rosemary, and a bunch of other weird organic stuff. Like I said I'm not sure if any of this stuff helped, but I have a strong suspicion something in that shampoo was helping to clean out my hair. If anyone has a lot of time before a test I would suggest using this as a substitute if you cant find shampoo with aloe. I would also use the method described in the posts right before the test, since I do not know what actually caused me to pass. Anyways, thanks for all the advice and support throughout the process.
