Testament-the only band I still haven't seen live but have an autographed Guitar from.

Megadeth-Played all of Rust, and when Dawn Patrol was played, they had a guy come out dressed just like Vic on the Rust in Peace Cover, who delivered the 'monologue' to the crowd. Encored with Headcrusher, A Tout Le Monde (never heard that live before), Symphony of Destruction, and Peace Sells. I've mentioned him before, but if you haven't heard Chris Broderick's playing outside of what he is doing with MegaDeth and you love the guitar like I do, you better go google. HFS

I also came to the conclusion last night that when thrash metal was conceived, Dave Mustaine organized the gang bang. Say whatever you want, but outside of Alexi Laiho in Children of Bodom (and Mustaine had been kicked out of Metallica by the time he was born), can you mention anyone else that delivers vocals in a thrash band while brandishing that level of technique like Mustaine?

Every Slayer show delivers. And each one has it's own stand out moments. This one was a chronological representation of fans. Three that stand out...the late 50's early 60's hippie with a head and ponytail of white hair. He was sporting a tye dye that any Deadhead would trade a sheet of dose for. Totally out of place. And the Mom who I would peg in her late 40's and her teenage son. She saw me looking over at them and I pointed at her son and gave her the thumbs up and I'm pretty sure she yelled 'Fuck yea' when she threw the devil horns.

Got the title track of off World Painted Blood, followed by Hate Worldwide.

There are 3 words that make the hair on the back of every Slayer fans neck stand up...

Np, not really. What you will miss is the 'Woodstock' of the thrash genre if you pass on the chance to see this.

Anthrax is going to join up and play the opening slot, so it will be a reunited line up from the Clash of the Titans Tour in 1991. Look for that tour to continue through 2011, to commemorate the 20th anniversary.

I'm pretty sure Slayer has fulfilled it's contract and is no longer under any obligation. That means everything and nothing at the same time. They have all been tight lipped about retirement, outside of Kerry King inferring that he would continue to play with 'someone' if the band went on sabbatical.

The only way the second leg of this tour could be totally complete is if Pantera could of been signed as a another opening act. God dammit Darrell, I miss you.
