400 watt?
Is this business legit and does this setup look good for a room 8'Lx2'Wx4'tall?High Tech Garden Supply)

Well, a 400w gives you about 8 sqaure feet of space.You could do 2ft x 4ft. in the space you have. I don't think it is possible to get a single 400w to cover 8ft no matter what hood you use.you could cut the space in half and be able to have 2 diff. light-cycle areas which would be nice but I think that you will find that you need to use the whole space because unless its going to be open while the lights are on it's gonna run hot in a 2x4x4ft area.
Get some FL or CFL lights on the sides and rotate the pots in addition to the 400w in the middle. If you only have 4ft of head space you are gonna have to train the plants down or something- maybe a minnie-sog or something. |
