storing seeds for the winter

what is the best way to prepare fresh seeds for long term keeping?

I know people that keep them in the freezer........I keep mine in a dry, even temperature enviro.

The refrigerator works fine, throw some uncooked rice in there to absorb any moisture.

Freezer is fine too, but you gotta let em rest a bit to germ, seems counterproductive.

Just keep them in a dry place. Seeds really don't go bad unless kept in a humid place or they germ. They actually become more viable when they are left to cure.
