tiny white spots on leaves

What would cause tiny white spots on leaves. They are growing inside, the temp and humidity is good, lights are floros and they have air movement.
The new growth looks good but after a couple of weeks the white specs apear all over the leaves. The plants seem to be health and produce good bud.
The grow space has a lot of plants for the space.
Could it be a co2 problem or spreying the plants with tap water that has set for a couple of days?

have you checked the undersides of the affected leaves for spider mites?

as long as the plants have roots there should be no reason for you to be spraying them with water, that can potentially just cause further issues.

Thrips or spider mites. I'd get spraying neem oil or other bug killer in there.

Take hot peppers, fresh ones, and squeeze the juice from them. spray it on your plants. over and under leaves, and on the surface of the soil. you can dilute it a bit, just so it still tastes hot. burn the bastards out.

ive had good results with eradicating spider mites by feeding the plants a dilution of 2 mils per gallon of sm-90. give it a dose of that once every 3-4 days and the population should be under control within a couple weeks.

Thanks for the input. I think it must be the spreying, I was spreying them because it has been so hot.
I don't think it is mites, there are no spots on the bottom of the leaves and no sign of bugs. I will stop the spreying and see how they do.

usually the problems associated with spraying water is burn spots on the leaves from the bubbles of water magnifying the light and burning them.
Would be nice to have apicture or 2.

Thripes leave little dead spots, not white spots.

That is probably the explanation right there for sure. If it is mites - they are tiny and live under the leaves LOOK CLOSELY!
Is the water from a tap? It could be hard water deposits or hot spots like Dan said. Try to get some pics!
