Adding Food Coloring To Your Resivor ?

I came across some Blueberry that I have reason to beleive was dyed with purple food color ?

Is this even possible,

Any one ever herd of this topic before ?

I would think it could be possible as water is taken up into the plant's and the bud's are green and purple is darker then green, So if this was done and you ended up with purple or semi purple color to the bud's I would imagine when you harvest and they were wet your fingers would get a purple coat on them and even if you managed to do this after you dried you bud's would the food color still find it's way onto your fingers telling you that somthing is not right ?
