Purple Bud's via Purple Food Color ?

Came across some shall we say weird Blueberry or so It was called blueberry but when handling the bud's a purple tinture was on my fingers and so I got to thinking that you would not poor purple food color directly on the bud's so how about feedingit to them via hydroponics by adding concentrated food color to a small resivor and durning the water deep purple ?

Any comments or ideas ?
