DOMINATOR Searchlight Series - The most powerfuls of all searchlights spotlights and floodlights.

In all seriousness could one, would one want to and why, adapt that beast for a grow. I'm not talking indoor grow "rooms"...i mean like lighting up a field or whole warehouse. At 2,100,000 lumens and 80K price tag it would need to be super large scale to be profitable but damn that would be a cool thing to see.

Running cost (aprox) $6/HOUR

Probably not cost effective. Also, does it produce the right kind of light?

EDIT: Although i'd imagine it would be pretty effective at combating the DEA's choppers.

Light spectrum would be a concern, the massive amount of heat generated another, would the light be up to the challenge of running 12/h a day, 365 days a year, etc. etc.

As to the question why someone would want to? I don't see one other than novelty.

It could extend natural daylight hours over an outdoor plot very effectively, make year round growing an option for some. Light spectrum could be off though.
