Flower like things?

Hey something strange happened to two of my plants. I thought they had turned hermaphrodite cos they had like male banana bits on them. At first I kept picking them off. I harvested one plant expecting to find some seeds but I didn`t! I left the other plant to it`s own devices after that and the banana things grew into some tiny flower like things. Kind of magolia colour. The bud from both plants was fine, as good as their cloned sisters. No seeds at all. ????
Sorry I havn`t got a digi camera.

Aye buds as well as her sister clones who budded as normal (as you`d want).
As I said unfortunately I havn`t got a digicamera. And the evidence has gone up in smoke...

Normal yeilds = approx 1 1/2 oz bud which is what I normally get from a plant.

Let's get you a prime-time soil recipe that will yield WAY more than the norm.
Another q..........what kind of ferts are you using and what's the humidity/temperature in the room when lights are on and off?

I`m using Bio Buzz Bloom for flowering (it`s supposed to be organic, I`ve had good results with it) and just soil for vegging. I havn`t got a thermometer or a hydrometer (is that what they`re called?). It is fairly humid in my growroom (allthough I`ve never had mold). When the lights are on it`s fairly warm but I`ve got a good extraction system now which stops my ladies getting baked. At night it can get below 5 degrees which is fairly cold I guess, some plants have gone a bit purple which I think is a sign of it being a bit cold for them. I should get a thermometer, they`re not exactly expensive.

5 celcius. I know it`s cold but it`s winter! Allthough like I said they seem to go a bit purple, especially towards the end, they seem to cope quite well. I just get any soil from the grow shop preferably organic with the usual stuff in it (20% sphagnum moss, 35% garden peat, 10%Worm-Humus , 30% perlite and 5% fertilizer according to the blurb). Allthough it`s about a tenner (£10 sterling#) a 20kg bag it`s worth it I think and I can reuse the waste in a raised bed later...

Is there any way of putting the intake on a timer?
When I do indoor, winter shows, the cold on some days is too cold!
The cold sure does make 'em purplish!
I have a huge amount of respect for the Indoor Grower, one has to mimic outdoor conditions. That requires constant attention, maintaing the ideal growing environment is a full-time job!

Yeah that would be quite easy to do. The extractor has a carbon scrubber on it for de-odourification purposes though. I suppose the smell will be less when the light is off maybe.

These units mount onto your ductwork in minutes.
Ozone is one of the most powerful oxidizers available. It doesn't just mask odors like mere air fresheners, it neutralizes odors at the source, then harmlessly converts to CO2 and oxygen.
http://www.3countieshydroponics.co.u...erfin_wave.htm

I don't put it in the ductwork seeing as though I have a carbon filter. It just sits low to the floor and I put it on a timer........"off" when lights are off because of the light emission from the lamp itself and the plants don't need the C02 while sleeping.
Hydro stores often have used equipment, that's where I picked up the Uvonair 3000. I did buy a new bulb though.(85 CAN)
