Flowering Question
Hi there fellows.
Had some questions to be ansewered from people who know how its going... Bought femisized seeds from a well reputated seedbank.2 plantings before found a male(winter time we are talking).Today found a a plant in my growroom with signs of < Got fuckin upset. How can a feminized plant become malr or hermie. Was it my fault? Also, how could I see if its a hermie or a male? Are there any differences? I am in the 1st flowering week. Have 1 PPP and 1 WW. Theya all seemed ok but the PPP(which has showed early floering signs seems to be a malr. How many differences are there in an male and a hermie? And how soon u can say for sure? |

The seedbank is less important than the breeder, so tell us more about the beans.
Fem seeds do go herm from time to time, but I haven't heard of males. Basically a herm is a female plant that has male parts, so it would look like a fem but have pollen sacs etc. Keep a close eye on them, be sure b4 you give up the grow, if any pollen sacs get swollen then you can pinch them off. Pics would help. |

It is possible to shock plants into male or hermie but like the others said its kinda hard to tell from your pics.
The difference between a hermie and a male is a male produces no flowers, (buds) while a hermie produces both flowers and seeds. The pot wont be as strong as a pure lady because of the plant using its energy to produce seeds. |

Actually the herm produces buds and pollen sacs, if the sacs burst they can pollinate the buds and then you get the seeds. If you pinch off pollen sacs you end up with a good smoke, but expect seeds if you miss a sacs or two.

First time this happened to me.The PPP looked like hermie with some balls on the start of the brunches.Removed some of them and now it looks like it has <
All the close up pics I have taken arent good so you couldnt tell... They are really bushy thats true. Saddly my growroom is limited in space so the lower budsites cant get enough light like they want. Removed some of the big fan leaves from both of the plantsto help the the budsites. Aluminum foil in all the growroom, training are some of my < Haveyou any tip to lighten the lower branches? Cant add an extra light in there. Lack of space as I told before.. |

Are the pollen sacs widespread? I've seen feminized plants develope male flowers on just part of a branch or 2--that's not unusual. That works good because you get a potent plant plus a few feminized seeds.
Disregard if they are all over it; I couldn't tell by looking at the pics. |

Mr.O you are probably right.I saw the pollen sacs on only 2-3 branches and that in the start of flowering.
Removed them and now cant see any balls. Are the few seeds that might be produced surely feminised? And if so is there a change the hermie plant(the one with the sacs) that makes the other plant a hermie? If that happens the seeds of the second plant(female) will be a cross of them? Cerebrotraining is my answer too for my growroom. Thanks for the help. |

herm is one question with two answers.
some herm is stress induced, some is genetics. you can pass on a genetic disposition. sooo.....unless you purposely stressed an ibl i'd be cautious. Otherwise grow some out and see. You might get 100% fem. |
