There's this swamp 10 miles long and would not be suitable to grow weed because it's just too wet!
One good thing is that "Scouts" never check these kind of areas............. Here's the plan Stan. Small trees are gathered and laid down, side by side, as you would if you were were building a raft. (This is to help with drainage) Then get out the dollar store kiddie pools, (The blow up small ones) and puncture 2 holes underneath where the plants will sit. 4 plants per pool, 8 holes for drainage. One might need more hoes later......... Spray the edge and outer sides of the pool black and brown for camo. Fill with a good soil recipe and it's ready to go. Camo, camo, camo, I can't stress that enough! P.S. I'm sure there's a few details I've forgotten........whe n they come to me, I'll post 'em up along with a peek or two at a pool. ![]() |

That's ingenious. Hungry, grumpy Cougar warning signs help move snoopers to the area right along.

I just remembered something.........Sw amps in general are where you find beavers, otters, moose............!
As well as grasshoppers, they like long grass and they'll need to be dealt with when their time comes, but, for now it's the critters big and small that need to be deterred. Dog hair, human hair and moth balls really do the trick. Bone meal will be needed for the slugs, if any. (Sprinkle it on the surface) Might need to concoct up a red pepper paste and chili sprinkles if there's any signs of nibbling on the stalks......(Recipe to follow soon......not for human consumption!) |

Here on the Wet Coast, a lot of our flower/hydroponic shops carry a liquid mixture of predator piss. Supposedly it smells like cougar and dog piss mixed together and is supposed to keep dear and rabbits away from the area.

This little idea I have is not as simple as I originally thought! (Pics will come soon)
Deer flies and mosquitos are voracious in swamps not to mention the long haul in on snow shoes and all the bumps and bruises along the way. I've added some 14-14-14 slow release ferts to the recipe. |

i hope you go with a partner or an escape plan if something unlikely happens. i once stepped on a damp patch of ground only to find it was peat bog and I was up to my armpits in mud and guck. Totally stuck with nothing to push off against, so my buddy had to drag me out with a long stick. Imagine being stuck up to your waist AND you have snowshoes on also.
