how do I dry out my bud?

i got a really wet 3.5g nug and i need some tips on how to dry it out. its too hard to hit

Leave the lid open on your jar over night and try to not let the buds touch, too wet and touching equals mold. And you don't want that.

Put it in a wood box, the wood will absorb the moisture, just don't leave it in there for to long or it will get waaay to crisp, just leave it in overnight

I usually leave the sack by an open window
I would check it every hour, until the desired spongeeness. 2-3 hrs should do.

Then smoke the shit out of it.

I mean if you don't have the patients to wait till tommorow.

Those little buds are baisicly still alive and need moistrue.

Where do you live?

drying weed really isn't hard, just open the bag/jar... if it's not perfectly dry it always needs to breathe a little bit daily.

If it's moist, I'd leave it out in the open longer than a few hours. Nothing ruins it for me than having great looking weed that smells like foul lettuce. I've even set out buds in a dark room on paper towels and just flip them once or twice a day to make sure they dry relatively even. It is much better to have buds that are too dry than ones that have been damp too long.

Fuck man up here in colorado if you have anything more than an 8th you have to have a jar to keep it in. Anything more than an 8th in a plastic sandwhich bag will dry up within 2-3 days.

Jar curing at the perfect time is a must here. When curing nugs, you actually have to have a humidity source in the room believe it or not. It sounds weird, but improper curing in colorado is the easiest way to 'ruin' a crop.

I actually find myself using citrus peels a lot just to maintain my nugget moisture preference. It's weird compared to what I'm used to.

cut up with scissors the amount you wish to smoke, spread the weed out on a magazine and place it under a lit table lamp for several minutes. be careful not to leave it for too long

purty good. i dried it out over night twice. i really think i got ripped off too. all that moisture and a huge stem probably added a gram

If you need to dry it quicker, within a few hours, you can always put it on a sheet of paper and leave it under a lamp for a while, thats pretty effective.

I like my weed dried out to be honest.

If you need it "NOW" and not in an hour from now, you cut it up and put it in the microwave for 15 second bursts til it's dry. Takes 30 seconds to a minute depending on the microwave. Changes the taste to shit but the high is still there. Slow curing is always the best if you have the time.

It depends on how hard up u are. The longer it dries the better it tastes and it will add more potency, but for a quick dry place it in an envelope and put it on the back of a TV for a few hrs. , or place the envelope on your hot water heater. Do not seal it! There are lots of different ways. Some of them will make you lose the THC and your buds will be shit. If you have time dry it slowly in a paper sac on the plant, roots up, so the THC from the stem and roots are transfered to the buds.

It is much better to let your bud dry and cure before you smoke it. You'll be much more happy with the end product. But if you really can't wait, microwave the buds for 15 seconds at a time until they're dry. They won't taste as good if you do it that way.
