What's the best soil/nutrient I can buy?
Hi, I’m new here.
I was wondering what’s the best soil and nutrients I can buy and where to buy them. I’ve been growing for two years now and always used miracle grow moisture control and it has worked fine but I heard a lot of negative things about it so I need someone else's input. I’m really confused. Should I stick with the miracle grow? And if I do keep using it, what nutrients should I add after the first 3 months? I hope someone would answer this. Thanks in advance. |

Doesn't really matter. I mean, you could go with some high-quality soil and yield the same quality crop, but you've to understand that Cannabis is a weed which used to grow along the countryside in hard soil.
But if you want to go the good soil route, I suggest plain old garden-bought soil. The same kind you'd use with any plant, or flower. Miracle Grow works good as well, or ProMix. As for nutriants-- they suggest three, 'Nitrogen , Phosphorus , and Potassium.' Iron phosphate might be good for the plant as well, but look into it. |

dont know if its available in your area, but Biobizz Soil and nutes are the gardeners choice in this side of the pond
theres more pricy and less pricy soils out there but biobizz is specifically made for canna growing plants literally explode in growth (if, of course, you provide the right enviroment for them) |

chem ferts require more precise feeding schedules.. otherwise to the plant, it's all the same ions, just that the organic matter depends on humic/fulvic and other aminos to act as chelates while the chem ferts rely more on EDTA to quickly unlock the essential nutrients.
people get all caught up in names and ideals, and tend to forget all about the actual science at work. most importantly.. cannabis prefers a fairly free-draining medium, and any basic 2-1-2 fert program will tend to work just fine.
