really annoying...
every time i log onto yahooka, if i leave it idle for literally like 3-4 minutes it'll log me off.
i can seriously just go take a shit or pop something in the microwave or check the score and bam i gotta log in again, usually in one session i gotta log in like a dozen times...
now is there something i can change in the user cp to change that? cause its brutal!

and then when i log in again (cause i got logged off...eugh) all posts are marked as read and i dont even know whats been read or not, so like not only do i have to re-login but i dunno what are new posts and whatnot (i know i can just look at the dates and times but still)

it bugs me that if i hit new posts and decide to read a whole thread, or take awhile to make a post, or have a cig break threads will be marked as read
would be good if that wasn't so

yeah!!!!!
exactly
and verk, yeah, I always thought of that, but then what if someone else using this pc (it's a shared pc) ends up on yahooka and i'm already logged in, I kinda don't want that to happen.
edit: post 2000!

after 15 mins or so with no activity the server logs you out. once that happens any posts that showed new before you timed out, even if you never got to them, will be marked read.

i guess all that could be done is to extend the amount of time a user can sit idle before timing out
what i do to get around this is open new posts in a new tab if i'm about to go do something so even if i time out i can get back to threads i haven't read yet. if there's more than one page you can open a tab for each separate page. it's easy enough and it works, just be sure not to refresh or open any links in those tabs

^^ you fellers had the remember me box checked when you logged in
you technically get logged out, you just don't have to go through with the login again because the server remembers your request and does so automatically. nothing to look in to really, i don't think

Having it looked into is better than doing nothing. If there is something that's questioned, and I'm not sure, of course I'm going to see if there's something that needs to be looked at. Especially since we have the resource atm.

If you do not check "Remember Me" there is a 10 minute cut off that will auto log you out regardless of if you close the browser or not.
If you'd like I can make Remember Me turned on by default?
As for new threads being marked as read, I can look into resolving this but changing the option will cause a higher server load. We shall see how it works.

Mikey do you live with people who would screw with your account? Just click remember me and minimize the page when you go out or something
