roach brought it up, but since he did, I think I'll give you all a user review...
It sucks.
Now to be fair, I'll tell you why.
You have to refresh the chat to see what other people say, so if someone without my loose morals and editing abilities lurks about, they see nothing. It looks like, well... This
I like the idea, the bugs need work, this is one. We need it to autorefresh or something so we can see who is talking to whom, not just a bunch of scattered sentences that don't seem to relate to anything.
You all were worried about the chat detracting from the posts on the board, if this is the final release, you can put your fears to rest.

i just got to the site and it's autorefreshing now...
the downside is, it's autorefreshing the whole page instead of just the chatbox...
RE will get it under control though, i have faith

It should auto refresh every 30 seconds. It will stop refreshing if you don't chat within 5 minutes.

Why not a chat "room" just an AJAX or irc box that opens in in a new page.

but it could be a strip down the side with a tab. click the tab it slides out to cover the forum.
or you could just start up an Mirc page

After using it a lot tonight, I really like it and I hope it stays, just in an improved version.
Hooka talked me through some shit and it wouldn't have happened without it.
So this feature has my vote 100%
