Im working of finishing off a bottle of SoCo, so just take this as a disclaimer.


Earlier today, I got out of work early, So i decided to go for a run in the 20 degree weather!?. It was actually very enjoyable my first outdoor run inabout 3 weeks. Anyway, while running through the woods i was thinking, theoriclly their is no absolute zero, in the physical world. And by absolute zero i mean nothing is ever constant. for instance, nothing, theorically, is completely still, if you boil it down atomicly something is moving... understand where im going with this... can you think of an absolute zero.

absolute zero is when all particle movement ceases to exist. if u, for instance reached absolute zero on the kelvin scale, your atomic particles would stop moving completely and theoretically you would fall to pieces. kinda like t1000 in terminator2 where he was shattered when he hit the cold stuff.

I think the implication of absolute zero are that time would stop at that temperature. If nothing is moving it's because time has stopped. When time stops, nothing moved.

Even if it can be achieved, we'll never know about it. we'd need an infinitely accurate system to determine the temp to be exactly absolute 0. For all we know, it’s already been achieved.

I don't think we need an infinitely accurate thermometer because a certain thing is supposed to happen at O*K. Everything is supposed to stop. Once you can measure the location and direction of a quantum particle, I think that is when you reach absolute zero. Since it is impossible to measure location and direction of quanta there creates a paradox that time would have to stop in order to measure direction and location, and since reaching absolute zero would give us that ability, achieving absolute zero is theoretically impossible, since viewing something at absolute zero would be an observation of the stoppage of time, which is also a paradox.

There's two paradoxes that cancel each other out. That absolute avails one to observe quanta's laction and direction, ruled impossible in quantum mechanics, and the stopping of time, ruled out by lack of everything. I think it's just basically impossible. The implications of absolute zero are what lead me to this conclusion.

Well, there are things that are supposed to happen, but everything at this stage is just theoretical.

Whoever said time would stop at absolute zero. You need to do something to remeber that that is a wrong way to think. The only was to stop time would be for you to move at the speed of light. Because light is basically what we measure time in. Because light makes us who we are. We are not seeing objects. We are seeing light reflected off those objects onto our eyes. What is weird is. What makes the colour GREEN to me. the same colour GREEN to you. We are both shown a card that says it is green. And told it is green. How do you know it isnt green? My Green could be Orange to someone else.but to get back to my lecture. Time is a so called "4th dimenson' meaning. No matter how cold you get something or hot or how many times you spin something around time will always be a constent thing. We are always moving through the space time continuam. This gets onto another thing in life. What is time? If we didnt have time would we care as much. It really is just a system kept in place to keep us in line and society moving as a whole.
