a snow globe just fell off of a tall dresser and smashed over my head, little white "snow" particles everywhere, water and glass all over me and the floor. this day just gets better and better...

lol when I was in school the gym teacher would call it "Adventures in Avoidance" or just "Avoidance" cause parents were suing over dodge ball accidents and it was banned from the schools or something.
(And yes, I actually took gym class, I did participate, and I never had a heart attack)

ya when i was in middle school we used hard kickballs for dodgeball, small and big real kickballs. by the time i got to high school, it was using soft foam balls, that no matter how hard you threw, it was barely a game of dodgeball..
junior year it was banned in the district as well.

banned?! shit I loved dodgeball, and we used those big kickballs too. nothing more satisfying than hitting a kid in the face from 50 feet away when hes running sideways. BAM almost knocked him over . foam balls suck, you can't throw them hard without them curving and they have no speed or power..
