I'm going to Mexico for a month.

...I'll be staying in a small beach house with my family in some tiny town for almost a month.

Any ideas or advice?
Things to bring, do, not do, or to look up while there?
And does anybody happen to have buying-good-pot-in-mexico experience?

Oh yeah and I'm planning on taking about a half-eighth. I'll just wear some fuckin briefs for the plane-trip for the purpose of transporting the herbage.
i don't see any problems with this besides being uncomfortable in restrictive underwear. Anyone see any holes in my plan? in regards to airport security, etc.

Maybe its just me man. I dont have much airport experience, but I dont think its worth it to try and bring weed on a plane.

I don't smoke very much - to keep the tolerance low, and because I'm a lightweight so a little goes a long way.

I guess an eighth would be just as easy to take, but I don't have 50bucks.

Yea I guess dogs would really be the only way. Especially with international flights, they are a bit more hard-core about the drugs I think. Don't bring any back into the USA at least.

Because you're carrying drugs though a fucking airport, it's not like airports would be really intent on spotting drugs or anything....

I've had random searches/patdowns a few times in airports, fuck potentially going to a mexican jail for such a tiny amount.

i once brough 2 ounces of weed and 2 ounces of shrooms back from california in my suitcase, but that wasn't an international flight. I think it would be stupid to bring drugs on an international flight unless you use a tiny vaccum seal on it and keep it on your pubes.

I've had buddies that have had no problem at all scoring bud in Mexico.

They said it didn't look super dank, but got em very high.

I'd just try to get some of the local herb.

It depends on what city/state you're gonna be in. Some people in certain regions are extremely religious and asking them to buy drugs off of them would be a deep insult. My advice, if you really want to score sum. Go to bars in some of the bigger cities. I assume you speak Spanish as well? If not, forget about it. They can smell a dirty cop gringo from kilometers.

Maybe I already told this story, but...
I remember when a friend & I were budless in Cardston, Alberta.
We just walked down mainstreet for about a halfhour until we saw a kid who looked the part.

"Hey man you know where we can get some pot?"
"Hell yeah," he said, "I just picked up all my shit."

So we walk around the corner of a building and he pulls a whole oz out of his hoodie. He gave us at least a tron of some dank-ass bowls for 25$
