I once planted beans expecting a real beanstalk to grow...like a magical miles high beanstalk.

I used to write letters to E.T. and leave a little square box on the letter, for him to draw a picture of himself, so in the morning I would run and see if he had been there, and drawn himself.

I thought if you touched drywall puddy, you would actually turn into a statue.

I thought there were little people inside every stoplight turning it red/green.

I'm sure there are others, but these were the first two that came to mind.

oh, I thought sleeping on one side with my covers up to my neck would prevent vampires from getting at me. Which also means I, to some degree, thought vampires were real.

When I was real little, The Land Before Time was like my favorite movie (I loved dinosaurs in general) and I remember asking my mom if we could go see some real live dinosaurs.

When I watched a movie about Ted Bundy as a kid...I went to bed constantly messing up my hair, and keeping it hid, because it was long, brown, and parted in the middle.I did this so I didn't get murdered in my sleep by him.

i was at this live ninja turtles play, when i was like 6, goodman theatre chicago, and the plot was that shredder had this device that was going to freeze the entire city. and this was chicago, so i thought all this shit was for real and we had to leave the play like 10 minutes into it cuz i was shitting my pants. i thought i was gonna get frozed. i felt so bad when i got a bit older and realized i missed out on the whole play cuz i was a pussy :*(
