Hot and Cold

What is the hottest and coldest you have ever been or felt?

The hottest I have been in is 45 in Thailand last year and the coldest is Canada at somewhere about -25. But the coldest I have felt was in Thailand also riding my bike in the rain.. soaked through.

Hottest was stepping onto the tarmac in Fiji mid summer. It just took my breath away.
Coldest was cross country skiing around Mt Kosciusko NSW, Australia.....not too cold really, but massive wind chill factor.

The highest temperature I can confirm is 120°F, in Fresno when I was a kid. I was visiting my grandparents and my grandmother kept bitching because all we wanted to do was stay inside.

The lowest I can confirm is while living in Boston. One night, I'm walking my girlfriend home and it's snowballs cold; like, Jack London weather. I get home later and this guy who lives downstairs from me comes out of his room and he's all excited: "Do you know how cold it is outside!!??" "Pretty fucking cold," I say. He then goes on to tell me that, with the wind chill factor, it was around -60°F. That's verging on pissing ice cold.

Coldest was probably -30 in this industrial freezer I had to go into. I had just a shirt on and I was in there for like half an hour standing on an icy ladder, pulling down 25 kilo boxes of frozen prawns for my old boss. I didn't like that job.

Hottest was probably like 35- 40 degrees here in our summer.
