Clickit and Buy = Click it and FAIL

So i was trying to D/L the spore creature creator, and it has two options for payment: Clickandbuy or paypal. I have paypal, it's fairly easy, but i thought "maybe click and buy is easier" So input all my info, and it comes up that i need to call a number for conformation. Okay, inconvience considering it's a stateside number and i'm overseas. Next they keep me on hold for about 10 minutes, then confirm my card, and say they will now confirm it via e-mail. I do that, register with the website, and now i need one more form of confirmation : they will charge me a random amount between 1.00-1.99 and i have to call my bank to see how much the fucking charged. Now i have to wake my ass up early 2morro to do this shit. Will these fuckers even be able to link me up so i can download the fucking game?

Lesson learned = Familiarity is sometimes better.

My point is how sucky is a service that you have to go through all this hassle just to buy a $10 download.

And maybe someone else has had a similar experience.

Spores creature creator requires a minimum of direct x 10 and a 128 meg video card to install.

and it's a free download.

Only the game itself costs $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ .

I'll try playing with the creator app once I get it to install ,before I lay down $$$$ for the game.
