Where you live...

Post some of your favorite spots near (<50km or so) to where you live.. and say why they are your favorite if you feel like it..

This is the view from the lookout I go to sometimes for a walk and a think. It's about 4-5km's away from where I live. Shame about the buildings, though.

This is Yellow Springs, about 15-20 miles from where I live. It's a small Bohemian/counter culture village, it was founded as a Utopian society. Dave Chappelle lives here.

It is my favorite place to be. An environmentalist's dream come true.

Me and my people like to go to this spot called Inspiration Point. It's a big ass rock that sits on the edge of this cliff. You can get of top off it to sit and chill while you toke and the view is crazy.

about 5 minutes from my house, Interstate 20 because its the quickest way out of this wannabe shittown. Man In Black nice pics! I already knew I missed the forests of the North, great reminder why!

1, 2 and 3 are pictures of the jungle about 5km away from my place. I love to smoke up
there and wonder around and climb the trees. The sights and sounds are seriously awe-inspiring.

4 and 5 are the beaches on the south of the island, about 15km away. I don't go too much.. but when I do I am always day tripping. It's alot better when it is low season. Also low season is when the bigger waves arrive.. so perfect for bodyboarding!

6 and 7 are from the local reservoir.. only a few km's from my place and I absolutely love to chill there. Usually we will have the whole area to ourselves. Swimming is great.. and the rope swings we put up are amazing. One of my favorite places to be.. ever!

8 is in northern Thailand.. about 800km away.. not close.. but I thought I would put it in there because it is one of my favorite places ever. Real natural and awesome for jumps and wildlife sightings. Ahhh. This is 80%+ my reasoning for working where I am and thats just the area! But having said that where I lived before had alot of amazing places.. just not as perceptively grandeur as here.

Man i wish i could but only pics i got of it are regular pictures and I don't have a scanner. Doesn't compare to your stuff lol. It's a chill place though. Actually met a guy there who was sitting on the rock reading a book and he had some killer hash. We rolled up a few blunts filled with hash and herb and got ripped.
