Police
So about five minutes ago I hear a knock at the door. I get up to go look and see who it is, peek out the window, and sure enough, it's a local. My heart drops. Saturday night I had a little run in with some friends, they got disorderly conduct charges but because of my ability to keep a level head I got to go free. Regardless though, they still took my information and checked for warrants etc etc.
So yeah I see her standing out there (the sheriff is a lady) and my initial thought is "Fuck, she's going to ask me about my involvement from what happened Saturday night. I thought this shit was done and over with." So I open the door and ask "Can I help you?". The last thing I want to do is help a police officer but I know the routine having been through it a few times before. She asks if I had heard my next door neighbors arguing or fighting. Boy was I relieved. I said no, I had the music turned up loud and the laundry machine was going. Then she asks if I had ever heard them doing it in the past, I said no, never. Which I never have, the only commotion I ever hear is a when some kids down the street occasionally have a party or something. So I tell her "Sorry I couldn't help." She says "Thanks" and walks away. I breathe a sigh of relief. I was just about to start smoking a fucking bowl too. But yeah, as long as you keep your cool and act reasonable, cops usually won't give you a hard time. But two run in's in three days is a little more than I'd like to deal with. Messing with my freedom, is like messing with my emotions.

Good to hear nothing was really up.
I've only had the cops come to my house twice. Once because I was blacked out drunk acting a fool and my own grandmother called them up. They arrest me for DUI and various shit because i was passed out drunk in the drivers seat with the key in the ignition. Fucked up part is my grandma actually was the one who hired me a lawyer cause I had caught a felony while i was sittin in thr back of the cop car cause i broke the door handle. Second time my house got raided cause my asshole of a uncle calls the cops of me and my buddy because our car broke down in front of his house because my uncle and grandma share a trash dumpster and we we're taking the trash down there when the car fucked up. He ends up lettin the cops go through my fuckin trash because he said he wanted to make sure it was mine. They find some seeds, stems, and roach papers and get a warrant for my house the next day. Ended up popping me with 9 morphione 100's(little blue fuckers) and a shitload of pipes/papers/hitters. I just got out of jail for that shit Feb 25th of this year.

I'm just glad that it wasn't one of the three or four cops that I had to deal with from Saturday night. That would have sucked. They'd probably be like "You again?". lol The sooner they forget my face, the better

There's a difference between police officers and pigs. No one should have the right to deem what we put in our bodies by choice as bad or good. The end it's a human right.

I understand there is a need for police, of course. And there are even some good cops out there. But not many around here. My motto isn't so much "fuck the police" as it is "leave me the fuck alone". And I feel is the duty of every American citizen to rely on the police for as little as possible. They have so much power because people have given it to them. When people abuse law enforcement, meaning when they rely on the police to solve every little thing, you are basically giving them authority over every area of your life. I don't necessarily advocate vigilante justice, but the police are there for a reason. And it's certainly not to solve every little problem you might have.

My main problem with the cops (at least in america) is that it's law enforcement for the generation of revenue. I mean, for the most part, all they're there for is to make more money for the government. Laws like, well, the prohibition of marijuana are only on the books because it makes jobs (for cops, lawyers, judges, jailers, Parole Officers, etc.) amd makes money (through fines, fees, court costs, taxpayer money going to the incarceration of pot smokers, etc.). It's bullshit.
But There are some respectable cops, and good laws too. It's wrong to make a generalization.
