The reason I switched is because while lighting up,
I would hold the lighter on too long and the plastic would melt.

destroying the lighter even if it was refillabel.
(I've been through many 99 cent refillable butane lighters a whole drawer full)

And then right in the middle of hiting it would go out and I have to reingnite.

Then it would be a race to see which melted first the lighter or my thumb.

i have a zippo pipe lighter.
I filled it up with 99 cent 91% alcohol
as appose to fluid or butane which is like 4 dollars for the same amount.

But what I really want is an Old Boy, but those are expensive.
But I heard they were more reliable and last longer for butane use.

They don't clog as much.

I was also getting tried of using one 99 cent lighter to turn another one on.

and those torch lighters incinerate instead of setting on fire.
Instant ashes.

Besides, my zippo is a house lighter soley for personal use and not social.
I still take a cheapo bic out for club functions.

ive owned like 3 but since i lose shit like its... fun to lose shit, ive lost em all.

luckily, i didnt pay for any of em. i either traded pot or smokes for em or stole em from spencers and those things are cheap-Os.

clippers are actually really good, it's flame is like that of a bic, but its refillable as well.

I have a zippo now, someone left it in my apartment yesterday.

I don't buy lighters. I lose one lighter and find another. Most people I know do. I guess someone must be buying the lighters originally, but we have yet to figure out who.

Must have bought/stolen thousands. Got sick of them fucking up, vowed never to buy another one. Got a Poppell lighter a month ago for 59p and it`s still working fine (gay name though).
