check these cats out....

this is going to be my next cat...

Expensive as fuck, but what ever. To have a leopard roaming around your house, it's worth it.

this one kind of cat they are trying to breed to actually look like bobcats. they specifically breed certain ones of this one kind with big tipped ears, wide noses, wide paws with big characteristics. They are basically trying to make a domestic bobcat out of a house cat. I'll try to look for it.

this might even be the ones that I am talking about, it was a long time I ago when I was reading about them. They were trying to get it finished by 2009 if I remember correctly....

Pretty sure this is a real bobcat... haha

I think you may be talking about a Bengal. They are very cool cats, but you're right about them being expensive. I think that $350 is pretty much the lowest amount you will pay for them, and it's usually more. There was a guy who used to post here named Norcalbudboy (or something like that) and he had one. He posted pictures of it, and it seemed to be a badass little kitty. They have sweet temperaments but a wild streak. He posted pics of his eating a goldfish in the bathtub.

Some people also keep Servals as domestic pets. They're pretty fucking cool looking also, they have huge ears, long necks, and supposedly have a very loud purr too.

haha those pics made me lol a lot

so i heard today my grandfather found a bat outside on his porch, he caught it and called.. uh whatever you call for animals. It had rabies so now they're forcing him to make his 2 cats get shots again. I'm sure he feels real bad for havin to put the stray he adopted through it cause shes old now.

those look just like a normal cat with tabby pattern to me

Miss Kitty is badass.

I like the first one. It's like she granted you permission to touch.

well I finally decided to bite the proverbial bullet and adopted a cat today out of a local kill shelter. I've been going back and forth for a while on whether or not to adopt, it is a pretty long term hardcore decisions as far as I'm concerned, since my intentions are to give him a forever home and not just for a few months.

My apartment requires that the cat is declawed and I really don't want to make another cat go through it so I've been searching around of an already declawed cat, which has made it harder. I started the out with the intention of adopting a darling female(i wanted a female) that i saw in an add online. When I got to the petsmart where she was kept though it turns out she had all her claws still . But as someone said today, the cat chooses you and you never end up with the one you thought you would.

So to make an already long story short a little shorter, after visiting 4 or 5 pet stores and a few shelters and visiting with a few cats that didn't seem to want me, I ended up coming home with this guy. He has a fantastic personality and has been no trouble at all so far, very loving but not too needy. Even loves to be brushed and lubs the belly rubs and chills next to me on the couch. He took a couple hours to adjust and now he's pretty comfortable with his new situation after i got him all set up with some toys and all that stuff. So far so good .

This is the best pic i've managed to snap so far.
(you've got to be high and be a cat lover to have read that...)

too cute man.

I couldn't really tell from your post- did he come from a pet store or a shelter?

He is SO cute, wander! That's very cool of you to not want to declaw a kitty, I personally think it's a really fucked up thing to do to a cat. I love the way his tabby markings are subtle on his body and more pronounced on his face. He seems like a cool kitty, I bet you're so glad you decided to get him!

yeah, declawing seems really inhumane.
