I did once. I was planning on breaking up with my gf at the time, as the summer had just started and long distance relationships suck. I didn't plan on it happening like it did though. I saw this girl I used to hook up with at a party and got blackout drunk. The next day she told me that we'd hooked up. Oh reaaally? So I started dating her too, and after about a week I called my gf and told her that we were over.

Worth it? No regrets. Ever.

When I was a teenager I did. I think when you get older you realize it's a lowlife thing to do to another person. I say if your not happy break up with a person rather than rip out their beating heart.

Cheating in this context isn't well defined. You could easily be talking about cheating on school work or cheating on a significant other.

When I was a teenager, I was with this guy for over a year who was a complete douchebag. I fucking hated him and didn't want to be with him anymore, we didn't get along at all. It was obvious that we were nearing the end of our relationship, but we were technically still together. And I kissed a guy I worked with. So I've never actually had sex with someone else while I was in a relationship, but I still considered it cheating and felt terrible about it despite the fact that the guy I was with was a piece of shit. And I am pretty sure I would never do it again. I know that sometimes things happen in the heat of the moment, but I admire a person who has enough self control to at least wait until they resolve their relationship before becoming physical with someone else.

Nope. But I am in a situation now where this girl I was really into/with is gone for a year. She claims she is going to wait for me (which creates a lot of uncertainty about how to feel for me, but thats another issue), but we are not 'together' and I havnt yet, but I intend to see other people. I donno its weird the way I feel about that.

I've always managed to argue my way out of it on a technicality ("We never said we were exclusive" etc.), but I did skirt the edge, so to speak, a few times when I was a kid. Would never think of it, now. I've been cheated on by women I loved, and it fucking rips your heart out through your ass to go through it. I couldn't do that to someone I cared about (or anyone else for that matter). It's just too much pain to be th cause of.
