Word, worst waste of money ever was to drop acid and go see Hot Fuzz.
Although it was fucking hilarious I could have waited and enjoyed both of them separately.

There's only a certain point in the comedown where I can even think about watching any video entertainment, and that's because my perspective is such that it takes on an entirely different purpose than that which was intended (to captivate the mind).

There's a cartoon called 'I married a strange person' that is pretty cool.

That doesn't work so well in the suburbs. The neighbors will notice you slowly walking around with your arms out stretched and staring at the sky.

Here's an idea. How about a concert dvd? Something like Ozzfest or Hellfest. That way it doesn't require too much of your attention, you can still hear the aweseomeness of the music anywhere you go and I think you'll really feel the show.

I watched Death Proof one night while on mushrooms. It was a great time, I got so into it. The movie felt like it was 3 hours long, when it actually is 1.5 hrs.

I sometimes enjoy movies while trippin, especially if its the winter and you don't wanna be outside all the time. Some of my favorites to watch while tripping are:
Yellow Submarine
The Wall
Princess Mononoke
Akira
Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy
Wizard of Oz with dark side of the moon
Ghost in the shell
Most scientific documentaries
Cowboy Bebop

I'm sure any decent fantasy movie or Concert dvd would work well. Or any cartoon tv show could be pretty good, although i cannot stand normal tv, the commercials really get to me.

Personally i enjoy listening to music most while tripping so i tend to lean towards musical movies if i'm going to watching tv. Or interesting animes are always good.

Yellow Submarine really set the tone for my first acid trip. Me and my friend were kinda nervous on our come up and didn't know what we should do for the night, i suggested maybe we could start by watching yellow submarine as i had heard it suggested numerous times on forums. It made the night awesome and reminded me how much i love The Beatles. I always keep a copy of yellow submarine with me when i know i will be tripping, in case i feel the "need" to watch it haha.

Tripping in a movie theater is fucking NUTS!! It can be fun. But in front of a television, Eh forgt that.

But movies tend to be irritating and hard to follow after one ingests a psychedelic. Stick with a simple hike/bike ride/dog walk/ camping trip/ swim/ Cloud and star Gaze.

oh and have some stoney music playing, preferably via an Mp3 Player

Come on, if you didn't do drugs, would you think that someone gazing at the stars would necessarily be tripping?
This is, I think, the problem with most paranoid drug users. They assume everyone else thinks about drugs as much as we do.
Just don't paint your face blue and jump out your window. I think that goes without saying.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. But yeah don't waste your whole trip sitting inside, go out and talk to the animals or something. Like in a disney cartoon. When you are tripping just imagine you are in your own cartoon.

But whoever suggested the Wall..I would advise against it. It's intense. A little too intense.
