Teh Gayness in the Military/ Don't ask don't tell.

As i've been for two years, i've seen how non-existent this policy really is. Everyone knows who is gay/lesbian in the military. Most lesbians are open about it, and gays tend to be "quiet" but not closed about it. There are gay couples in the military who are legally married and living in housing. (ie, my lesbian friend)

For fucks sake on Army Knowledge Online (AKO, basically your army e-mail/news/ect/chatroom website that is a .mil government ) website has a GAY CHATROOM with people of all ranks field grade officers to privates.

I really don't see why this policy is still on the books when it's not enforced. Get rid of it. If people want to be fabulous in the military, why can't they?

Speaking of these Army chatrooms it's nice to see that high ranking peoples suck at teh interwebs when they don't EVEN KNOW IT'S NOT COOL TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS BUT MAYBE THEY ARE YELLING BECUASE THEY HAVE SO MUCH RANK OR THEY ARE N00BS.

It's not like the army should reflect on the actual population or anything..
