Drug dealers..
I fucking envy drug dealers. not the small-time slimeballs that try to hustle in the street, but bigger stuff and in larger amounts. I recently ran into a friend from way back in the day and this fucking kid is getting a 50,000 dollar SUV and hes only 17. The thing is is that if you want to be a big time dealer, you have to have a shit load of connections and shit. hes native, and well, natives here have hundreds of friends/connections/cousins etc. We went to one of his connections where he picked up a fucking POUND of weed and a couple ounces of yay....good god that is a lot of shit. this guy was weighing this shit out with his mom in the same room and the kids as well. kinda fucked up..What these guys do is they sell the shit in the villages where yay goes for 150 a gram and weed goes for about 10 bucks for a little joint and around 150 for an eighth. God damn I wish I was native right now and "in the game" these motherfuckers have such a steady cash flow.. but it is kinda fucked up how they sell to their addict family members and get people hooked on yay..

Ive grown up around dealers all my life, way bigger than this kid your talking about, a pound of weed and a couple ounces of coke are like petty ass shit compared to these people......
Fact of the matter is, its not glam and its not cool, and its stressful as all fuck even being around them let along being one if thier only true friends witch adds a whole nother element of stress, they never get off the damn phone and dont really have time for anybody but themselves and that doesnt include thier customers...constant ly worried about people around there house, and whos calling them and why, constant fear of robbers, and a slight handful of actuall friends...not to mention the hordes of whores constantly calling and bothering them... Big supprise out of all the really big time people I knew, they ALL eventually got busted and ive lost a great deal of my best friends in the whole world, loosing them was about some of the hardest times ive ever had, and I cant help but shed a tear when I do get calls from prison...and some of these people went above and beyond careful, and eventually even the best get busted... Envying drug dealers is a fools envy...dont be silly Last edited by GirlsHateMe; 09-18-2008 at 05:34 AM. |

I'm not saying he is a big time dealer but the dudes who were dealing with kilos were..I'm just saying selling drugs in the villages is fucking huge money for a dealer who is not way up at the top. hes expecting about 8 gs this week alone and he does this shit all the time. I guess I don't envy drug dealers in general just the ones that I have known and the simplicity of THEIR little businesses they got going.

Even the most simple of operations gets fucked when someone you sell to gets busted and doesnt want to do the time...theres just so many factors being a dealer that can get you screwed, even a simple traffic stop can turn into a huge disaster(this just happened a few weeks ago to my last friend that wasn't in jail)
I wasn't trying to belittle your friend, sorry if it came off that way... I just wanted to explain that its not all simple, like it seems to be...I used to envy the fuck out of dealers, but then you get close to them and they become your friends and you truly see what they go through on a day to day basis... shit what this dude does on a day to day basis is just laziness, getting drunk and shit. I guess I wasn't talking about dealers in general, or the big timers, just about this group of people that have their shit laid out for them and guaranteed steady cash flow. I mean you can buy an OZ of coke here for around 1200 and turn it into 4200 in about a day..

GHM hit it on the head. I even hate selling weed/doses because all the people bothering me all hours and my phone is practically part of my fucking head.

I admire some dealers too.
They are quintessentially self-made. Nothing short of businessmen. And very powerful ones at that. How can a man not admire that sort of status? Let's not act like we don't drop dealer names once in a while, shamelessly. Sometimes drug dealers are the most "famous" people we know. |

What don't you get?
Do you think I'm talking about your hippie uncle who sells dime bags to the kids in his neighborhood? Fuck no. I'm talking about successful ones. The real dealers out there who actually buy brand new 7-Series BMW's and know celebrities/athletes and have villas in Panama. You don't see anything cool about that? You dont' see status there? |

Some of my fav's.
Freeway” Ricky Ross Country of operation: USA Clients: The Western United States Product: Crack cocaine A major crack distributor during the 1980s, Ross’ operation is alleged to have purchased in excess of 400 kilos of cocaine a week while selling as much as $3 million of crack every day. As a result, some consider him to be solely responsible for the crack cocaine epidemic in the U.S., a claim flatly refuted in 1999 by the U.S. Department of Justice, who acknowledged the mammoth size of his operation, but dismissed any notion that Ross -- or any one individual -- could conceivably shoulder all the blame. Downfall: In 1996, Ross was set up by his partner to sell 100 kilos of coke to an undercover DEA agent. 2008 status: Ricky Ross is currently incarcerated in the U.S. Santiago Luis Polanco Rodriguez, aka “Yayo” Country of operation: USA Clients: USA, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic Product: Crack cocaine Rodriguez brought crack to the masses by using a more traditional business model than is typically seen in the drug trade. His clever merchandising techniques included weekend discounts, the use of business cards, brand recognition, and distribution to dealers in glassine envelopes (the kind stamp collectors use). In the words of sociologist Robert Jackall, “One has to recognize his particular and peculiar genius even if one doesn’t honor it.” Downfall: Rodriguez ditched a massive DEA dragnet in 1987, but non-drug-related trouble in the Dominican Republic earned him some prison time. 2008 status: Today, Rodriguez lives lavishly with his wife and children in the Dominican, beyond the reach of U.S. authorities. Felix Mitchell, aka “The Cat” Country of operation: USA Clients: USA Product: Heroin, crack cocaine “Mob 69,” Mitchell’s massive, gang-controlled drug operation, was the first of its kind, and he controlled it in part with a brilliant bit of PR: Sponsoring local athletics and taking children on field trips to zoos and amusement parks. Yet, when he was thrown in prison, a new kind of inner-city violence was born: what had been a tightly controlled monopoly under Mitchell became an unstable battleground in his absence, replete with drive-bys and increased violence between competitors vying for his business. Downfall: Mitchell’s notoriety made him a target for authorities, earning him a life sentence in Leavenworth. 2008 status: Mitchell was stabbed and killed less than two years into his sentence. His funeral was a spectacle: Rolls Royce limousines followed a horse-drawn carriage bringing his casket through crowded Oakland streets lined with thousands of mourners. |

You need to look passed the money mercury man, that bit of course is cool. It's everything else that makes it bad, not even worth millions to most i would immagine. You can make just as much money doing it the proper way, it's just a damn sight harder wich makes it far more respectable. Idolise Bill Gates not Rick Ross.

Also think about how many people you`d have to step on to get to the top as a dealer. I personally have my doubts about Howard Marks let alone Pablo Escobar. It`s gangster bullshit like this that encourages stupid kids to get into guns and knives and shit. And while I`d have to say I respect Bill Gates as an astute businessman I`d hardly idolize a man who has lumbered the world with some of the worst OS ever and made a gargantuan killing in the process, no matter how much of it he later gives away.
