after reading about them in ht and ss maybe 2 years ago, i started to practice it.
i read alot of matchu's, the revs, ego's, and some other spiritual inclined peoples writings on them. it sounded amazing, but almost like it was fairytale bullshit.

well yeah it happened one night, basically i think i just tried to keep the idea of "awake in a dream" throughout my head all day.

than, i was dreaming, and i thought "awake in a dream". and it hit me like bricks that I WAS in a dream. I was actually working out in a gym. After I awoke I went to the mirrors of the gym, looked at myself for a while and it was me, went outside, tried to fly and couldn't.

I think I didn't have enough experience or concentration to do it. And I was still kind of schocked. I then woke up and tripped the fuck out for about a week.

I couldnt believe it worked, but it does. I should really get back into it. The one time was just a tease.

Lucid Dreaming: Dream & know it! Control conscious dreams? Learn it on LD4all.com

Quote:
Have you ever controlled your dreams?
Yes, that is really possible!
It is called lucid dreaming and here on LD4all you can learn how to do it.

Don't take your dreams for granted
In dreams, things happen that don't happen in daily life. But when you dream, you are convinced that what you see is reality.

When you are at work, and your boss appears to be a pink monster with tentacles, won't you at least start thinking that that is slightly strange? In real life, you would, but in a dream you don't. In a dream, everything that happens is absolutely normal.

Most people are accustomed to the fact that "dreams are just dreams", and that you can't do anything about them. In fact, some people are convinced that they don't even dream.

Become aware of the dream
However, it is possible to 'wake up' inside the dream-- to realize that your boss normally goes through life in a human form, and from there to realize that you must be dreaming. This is called lucid dreaming.

I tried it maybe a year back for about a week straight. What I did was do something they call a "reality check" during the day about every couple hours or so I would look at my hands. Sounds weird but it really works..One night in the middle of a dream I remember looking at my hands and suddenly became completely lucid. It was awesome. You see, if you get in the habit of looking at your hands throughout the day, eventually you'll remember to do it in a dream subconsciously. While in a dream your hands appear to be VERY distorted. You can also do a reality check by looking at a clock. In a dream the time will change if you look at a clock, look away, than look at it again..pretty cool stuff. I was having lucid dreams every other night for about 2 weeks than just kinda gave up. cool stuff though

I tried for a couple weeks, but my dream recall was nonexsistent so I gave up. Then I heard that going to bed drunk causes you to not dream, something about it causes you to completly bypass R.E.M. sleep and go into the deep sleep. I assume weed does the same damn thing cuz I don't drink, but i smoke probably more than anyone else on this site. At least I did, I quit a few days ago (gotta get a new job) and have already started remembering my dreams. I think it's time to get back into this. :-D

I never knew this shit was so hard to do until I started reading about it on the net. It's always happened to me and frequently but I just thought everybody got lucid dreams. When I lucid dream I usualy just bug out and do crazy shit the only thing is most of the time if I just I start floating away. Sometimes I can get back down but most of the time I just float off untill it get boring so I close my eyes and wake myslef up. Fun times though.

Yeah thats exactly it. Like i'll try to just make a regular jump or something and the next thing I know i'm so far up away from the ground I can't even see anything below. Sometimes i can bust out some cool flips and shit and land it but mostly I just float away.
