Official; LD appreciation thread

I know there's been many of these threads, but I just want to express my appreciation for LDing.

I've only had 3 distinct LDs, but they were by far my favorite part of my life so far. I hope to have many more. I haven't really tired the last year but I am getting back into it.

If you don't know what LDing is, you NEED to find out.

I don't care if you some one who has terrible dream recall, etc.. This is the reason I'm laying off the weed this whole week. Just so I can get back into LDing. Okay, not the only reason...

The next thing I do when I get into my LD, I'm going to go on a grand theft auto killing spree. Then I'm going to have a reverse train ran on me by 100 asian babes.

Lucid dreaming forums are filled with terms shortened to initials.

LD - Lucid Dream
RC - Reality Check
WILD - Waking Induced Lucid Dream

and about 20 others. It's like having a thousand ways to say "Let's get stoned". If it's fun, someone is bound to put too much thought into it.

some memorable experiences-

"going lucid" while still half asleep and having violent shocks of what felt like electricity surging through my body. it felt like i was being shocked by many volts of electricity while trying to sleep through an earthquake. i learned afterword that it is a pretty common experience that people have when trying to WILD, or go into a lucid dream straight from waking state. no one knows what it is but theres plenty of theories.

waking up to my room completely covered in victorian age furnishings. like, my clock became a victorian age clock that wasnt digital, my bed was a huge victorian bed with half-transclucent sheets covering it just like you see in all those old ones. i was only lucid for a few seconds because it shocked me so much that i passed right back out.

waking up to an 'energetic' version of my room. it was sort of like the matrix. the walls were made of vibrating energy and pulsated in a weird way. all i could hear was a loud hum and i blacked out again after a few seconds.

numerous times ive become lucid while still sort of awake and been in a totally black 'void' where i recognzied my consciousness was still in my room, but not "anchored" to my body. usually what would happen is i would fly around the room uncontrollably and then feel myself flying through my house and into the sky, where i blacked out. i felt like a balloon that was flying around deflating. sometimes i could feel myself go back into my body, it felt sort of like jumping into a pool or something.

pretty trippy stuff.

I've been trying to LD for 2 years now and I still can't.
I'm at the point where I feel like saying fuck it and not trying anymore.

It makes me sad.

Plus I'm about ready to say fuck it to dreams in general.
Fucking, last night I went home mad drunk/high/tired and I fell asleep on the couch, then like a few hours later I dreamed I was in the bathroom and I woke up cause I was pissing myself.

No, I don't make up stories on the internet in an attempt to impress people.

Sorry, you're alone in that boat.

Uhh... I wasn't implying that I make up stories to impress people, but yeah I'll go with that...

I've never lied about a story on yahooka. Just for the record.

It's just I don't know many people that piss their pants on a regular basis. It struck me as unusual. Do you have a problem with that?

Cause I don't.
Ok I'll stfu now.

Learning to drink without blacking out and not pissing yourself takes time. It will come, have patience.

Yeah, I'm not really a drinker... I drink at the most once a month. But when I do it's extremely heavily and for a long time.

Oh, and Spanky, I meant to add a or something at the end.
