It makes total sense if you've ever been to the UK. Down there you don't just go up to a dealer, get your weed and be happy with it. There it's like an open market and everyone's trying to sell their product. You walk up to a dealer in London and it's like, 'oh yah you want some grass yeah? how much you want mate?'
and right there you've alerted every dealer around - I think something like 1 in 10 are dealers in the UK - so suddenly it's like

I believe that this happens, but I just dont get why people would do this. Unless your on the street and never expect to see the customer again (and need all the 'mad crystals' you can get to hawk the stuff), why would you possibly do this, people would notice and not buy off you again. It just doesnt make sense.

Maybe I'm paranoid but it seems like something the anti-drug people would do, to try and make the stuff seem more dangerous (when really its just because its unregulated that people do such stupid shit).

The little glass pieces get heated up and can burn your throat and lungs.

If you're a dealer and you end up getting a load of this stuff (with or without knowing) you've still gotta try and sell it to make the money back. it's not the people at the bottom of chain pushing a few oz that put that stuff in i reckon, it's the people growing it, or near the top [putting it in]

thankfully that stuff is long gone from around here... we never really did get to the bottom of what was in it (too busy getting high), it was all speculation similar to this thread (glass, fibreglass, sand, some kind of spray that solidifies on the plant, etc, etc)

if you think you have some fibreglass weed or w/e... try putting some of the crystals in your mouth, and crunch your teeth around.. you might notice a loud popping noise... we used to think that was the additive shit.... but again without proper investigation you never really know and it's all speculation.... although popping crystals = wtf

and even if the crystals don't pop, doesn't mean it hasn't been fucked with

it's not glass "balls", it's shards of ground up glass which are sprinkled over the weed to give the impression that it's "crystally". this is, of course, extremely bad for your health but from what I've seen looks quite convincing. The UK is fucked either way, between soapbar hash and the glass weed.
