Vegas Isn't That Great...
So I finally went to Vegas after almost 4 months of turning 21. It was not what I expected. It was whack as fuck.
Anyone else had a shitty first experience in Vegas?

i just watched the hangover and it made me respect what can happen there...
If you embrace the random and do everything in your power to not care away and plan the whole trip than you are in for a pretty good time...That pretty much goes for any trip though...

If you think the Strip sucks balls, wait till you see the rest of it. The entire city was built by the same contractor over the last 3 years, and it looks it. Even the residential communities come in strip mall form. The city's patron saint is the inventor of the chain restaurant. It's the most shamelessly generic place on the planet.

I can sort of relate to your shitty experience in Vegas. I went when I was a pre-teen with my super conservative grandparents. I remember getting a hand over my eyes as I watched a hooker walking down the street. So I would venture to say that I didn't get the full experience. However, I don't drink or gamble so I probably wouldn't enjoy it much more now that I'm an adult. I prefer the type of getaway that involves natural beauty anyway, because I'm much more of an outdoorsy type of girl than a waste money and watch cheesy shows type of girl.

I'm pretty sure even the sleaziest of casinos will hook you up with free alcohol as long as you're spending money in their building. That's just how casinos work. I even drank for free at a casino in Texas, so I would imagine the booze is always flowing at Vegas casinos. So you may now reassemble any dreams that may have previously been shattered.
