aaaaagh
So im stuck in a fucking oil working camp in the arctic circle way up north in alaska..no trees and no darkness..just miles of oil camps and equipment and tundra..i just applied for this job the other day not even knwoing what it was, and i get flown out the very next day..for 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, 13 hours a day. so bored.. But they got computer labs, game rooms, weight rooms and all this other nice stuff here, and all the food you can eat, had prime rib tonight. im on my break now, so exhausted. they have me sanitizing the dining room all day because of the swine flu, its the most boring job ever but hopefully my paycheck will make up for it.

That pays well no? I know that Alberta patch has made it so that McDonald's has to pay out nearly $20 + an hour to get people to even consider working there.

Yeah. Alberta is going to become a shithole very quickly though. Oil sands are a joke anyways.

"But they have cheap beer", said someone in denfense of the good the oil sands are producing
A 40 million dollarr surplus could be doing alot more good for AB and Canada as a whole.
