I've been sitting here with my fiance chilling on my laptop and reading fables....I realized that I enjoy the graphic novels so much better when I'm baked.
I stopped smoking for a good few years, and just recently started up again specifically because I enjoy reading comics while high so much.
I've been reading The Walking Dead, Fables, Jack of Fables, and Zombie Tales 2061 (A really good comic. It takes place after zombies become dominate on earth, and they actually start living like humans. The humans live in caves and are no longer the dominant species on earth)
Either way, I've read Fables Graphic Novel 1-11 in the past few months, and I'm waiting for 12 to come out this week. Then I'll have read the whole series pretty much.
I just was curious who else enjoys these comics, or hell comics in general

Shit Super, it doesn't seem like there are too many comics fans here tbh, I've made a couple comics threads but they didn't go very far.
Fables is awesome, I'm actually reading it right now, just finished Arabian Nights (and Days), Snow White is a total hottie.
Also good are Transmetropolitan,th e Invisibles, Preacher, The Authority, DMZ, Y: The Last Man, and Ex Machina.

tbh I get most from the library because buying comics is expensive and only takes like 15 minutes to read :/

Honestly, I have over est. $15,000 worth of comics.
Some I have are worth over 100 dollars, like Wolverine #1, which i got for 20 bucks about 10 years ago.
My uncle got me back into comics when I lived in chi town, just started reading them again too.
I used to read Marvel, and X-Titles - but now that I'm older I prefer diff, like Fable and zombie comics
I just finished The Walking Dead GN #1 today
and Terry, very cool - I didnt care for that one particularly, but when the Fables start fighting the Adversary is where it gets bad ass again, even BETTER than the first graphic novel

I used to buy the Punisher comics back in the day. way before the movie ever came out.
most of my money went towards comic books, pogs, and football cards. and music of course.

You guys ever read Bone?
I am not a big comic guy, but I've read the first few of those and enjoyed them.
Congrats on being a dad Super, best wishes with that.

The Zombie Hunters is a pretty good webcomic. I just found out about it yesterday and I'm like 150+ pages in.
It's got a cool art style.

AMC recently(August 12) won the bidding war to turn ongoing B&W Zed Apocalypse comic series The Walking Dead into a TV show.
Frank Darabont has been tied to the project as writer, director and executive producer.

Looking forward to this. Frank Darabont did Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile.

Bone is good but kind of kiddy, Walking Dead is good but kind of soap opera-y and Rex Mundi just pwns, thanks for the recommendation Bearsy I'm on book 2

Anytime, my dude. In fact... since you like Rex Mundi, maybe you'd like 100 Bullets
-----
I wish I could afford to buy comics... I just get .cbr files from torrent sites. There's a comic book shop less than a mile from my house too. If I had extra money I'd be in there every Wednesday(new comic day)
